Cala en Tugores
This
beach is about 7 kilometres from ses Salines on the south east coast of the
Island of Mallorca. It is about 100
metres long and 12 metres wide and consists of natural sand. It can only be reached on foot or by
anchoring your boat which means that it is not a crowded beach. You can walk for 3.6 kilometres from ses
Salines’s lighthouse along the coast or 5.4 kilometres from Colonia de Sant
Jordi’s beaches, es Carbo, es Dolc and es Port. If anchoring a boat you need to care because there is a rocky seabed
with seaweed and a small entrance channel. At Cala en Tugores there is a natural lake, s’Estany de ses Gambes,
where you will find many marine birds. As
it is a remote there are no facilities available so you must ensure that you
take plenty of water with you.
