Es Carbo / Platja d'es Carbo

This beach is about 0.9 kilometres from Colonia de Sant Jordi on the south east coast of the Island of Mallorca.  There is a path from St Jordi’s marina which will take you about half an hour to reach this beach.  On the way you will pass Es Dolc, a small and lovely beach, and a fisherman’s cottage which is now deserted.  It is about 1400 metres long and 25 metres wide and consists of natural fine white sand.  It spreads in a s-shape from Punta de Na Tianeta and Cala Delfi in a protected bay and is mostly visited by the local people from around the area.  Another way to reach this beach is by boat and the sea conditions can range from calm to moderate.  Seaweed can be a problem after a storm on this beach.  There are no facilities on the beach so you must ensure you take plenty of water with you.
