Es Coto / Platja d'es Coto / Platja de s'Estanys

This beach, also known as Platja de s’Estanys, is 6 kilometres from Campos on the south east coast of the Island of Mallorca.  It is about 58 metres wide and 10 metres wide and consists of natural, fine grained, golden sand with some rocks covered in marine grass and it slopes gently down into the sea.  It can be a difficult place to swim because of the rocks, the fact that it is not very deep and there is a sort of reef which is half a metre deep and is at the entrance to the beach.  It is an excellent place for sun bathing as it does not get busy. It is possible to anchor a boat as there is 7.5 metres of depth if you stay about 250 metres off shore.  Just a few metres from the beach you will find some free parking.
