Es Dofí
This
beach between Colonia de Sant Jordi and Cap de ses Salines which is 6
kilometres away on the south east coast of the Island of Mallorca. It is about 120 metres long and 26 metres wide,
consists of natural sand and some rocks and clear water. To access this beach by car you need to
follow the signs for Colonia de Sant Jordi where you can park the car for
free. There is then a lovely walk along
the coast, about 2 kilometres, passing the beaches of es Port, es Dolc and es
Escars, until you reach this cove. The
property that surrounds this beach is private, therefore it does not tend to be
crowded. You are able to see four small
islands, na Guardis, s’Estopa, s’Alobarda and s’Illot Petit, from the beach. There are no facilities so you must remember
to take plenty of water with you.
