Estanys / Raconada de s'Estany / Molí de s'Estany
This beautiful
beach, also known as Raconada de s’Estany or Moli de s’Estany, is 7 kilometres from ses Salines, between des
Tords and Punta de sa Llova, on the south east coast of the Island of
Mallorca. It is about 50 metres long and
12 metres wide and consists of natural, fine white sand, and slopes gently down
into the sea, and has some stunning sand dunes at the rear of the beach. It is a great place to anchor the boat
because of its sheltered condition. The beach’s
facilities include toilets, showers, a ramp for the disabled to use, a water
sports area, litter bin, a restaurant, and the opportunity to hire sun beds and
parasols. It is visited by tourists but
usually it is not overcrowded. It is a
lovely place to enjoy a Mallorcan beach and its sunshine.
