Platja d'es Port
This beautiful
beach is about 13 kilometres from Campos on the south east coast of the Island
of Mallorca. It is situated next to the
fishing port and marina of Colonia Sant Jordi. It is about 155 metres long and 35 metres wide
and consists of natural white sand and crystal clear water. It is very child friendly as the water is
shallow and there is plenty of space for children to play and paddle. To the rear of the beach is a promenade with
some palm trees, a few shops and restaurants. There is the opportunity to hire sun beds, parasols, pedal and motor
boats. There is a car park nearby or you
can park in the nearby streets. It can
become crowded with tourists during the peak summer months. There is a small ferry which you can get from
the fishing harbour which goes to Cabrera (Goat Island), a small island.
