Platja d'en Repic
This beach is located on the left hand side of the bay at Port de Soller on
the north west coast of the Island of Mallorca in the Serra de Tramuntana. You can get to Soller by driving through the
fantastic mountains and then paying a toll to use the tunnel which is also used
by the railway. The beach is about 250
metres long and 20 metres wide and consists of sand and shingle, but there is a
steep slope into the sea, and is popular with tourists, especially during the
summer months. It is separated from the
major port, about a five minute walk, by a large stream and is considered to be
the better of the two beaches in Port de Soller. The facilities include lifeguards, first aid,
restaurants, bars, shops and the opportunity to hire sun beds, parasols and
pedaloes. There is also the opportunity
to go on boat trips.
