Port de Soller / Port

This beach is located at the end of the harbout in  Port de Soller on the north west coast of the Island of Mallorca in the Serra de Tramuntana range of mountains.  You can get to Soller by driving through the fantastic mountains and then paying a toll to use the tunnel which is also used by the railway.  The beach is about 800 metres long and 20 metres wide and consists of natural rock, and is popular with tourists, especially during the summer months.  It is about a five minute walk to the other beach, Platja d’en Repic, the other beach being considered to be the better of the two beaches in Port de Soller.  The facilities include lifeguards, first aid, restaurants, bars, shops and the opportunity to hire sun beds, parasols and pedaloes.  There is also the opportunity to go on boat trips.
