Port de Soller / Port
This beach is located at the end of the harbout in Port de Soller on the north west coast of the
Island of Mallorca in the Serra de Tramuntana range of mountains. You can get to Soller by driving through the
fantastic mountains and then paying a toll to use the tunnel which is also used
by the railway. The beach is about 800
metres long and 20 metres wide and consists of natural rock, and is popular
with tourists, especially during the summer months. It is about a five minute walk to the other
beach, Platja d’en Repic, the other beach being considered to be the better of
the two beaches in Port de Soller. The
facilities include lifeguards, first aid, restaurants, bars, shops and the
opportunity to hire sun beds, parasols and pedaloes. There is also the opportunity to go on boat
trips.
