Cala Bona
This
beach is about 3.5 kilometres from Son Servera on the east coast of the Island
of Mallorca. It is about 450 metres long
and 32 metres wide and consists of natural golden sand and runs into Cala
Millor’s beach next door. It is
considered to be quieter than the neighbouring resort of Cala Millor, but its
closeness gives the tourist the advantages of the larger resort. There are rocky coves which are sheltered from
the wind and the water is crystal clear. The beach is surrounded by hotels and can be crowded during the popular
summer months with tourists. There are
some excellent bars and restaurants and the opportunity to hire sun beds,
parasols and water sports equipment, such as wind surfing. There is a newly renovated harbour where the
fishermen unload their boats and pedestrian area where you will find their
catch serve up in the local restaurants.
