Good value
Stayed at the Condes de Alcudia in September. Found the hotel to be very pleasant, Very centrally located to the beach and resort centre, 5 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to the resort centre. Hotel is a little out-dated needs some refurbish but still not as bad as it sounds. Hotel staff are first class, can't do enough for you! Food is OK, but being so central - why waste your money at the hotel, sample the local Mallorcan cuisine. As stated in brochure a very friendly atmosphere. Night life is laid back and relaxing. Overall I enjoyed my visit to Mallorca.

Good choice
I stayed in August and thought the hotel was clean, tidy and well looked after. The staff are always friendly and are very helpful if you need them. The rooms were clean and nice and I would recommend getting a sea view room. The hotel boasts an ideal location as it is very close to the shops and the old town and marina. There are lots of bars and restaurants around the hotel and can be quite noisy (my favourite bar was the Drunken Duck which is next to the hotel). The water park is about a 20 minute walk away. The lush beach is opposite the hotel, across the main road. The only thing I found was that the restaurant and pool areas can get very busy in high season - this wont be a problem if your travelling any time other than July and August.
