A good base with upmarket feel, for those who prefer some real atmosphere but are prepared to travel to a beach. Not, therefore, for young children
The beaches here are fairly small and only a few metres long. However there is a great beach at Camp de Mar which is only 3 miles away: broad, deep and gently shelving, with fine, light sand and equipped with pedalloes and the usual beach furniture.
Location: On the W end of the island, 19 miles W of Palma, 25 miles from airport.
Position: At head of a deep, almost fjord-like inlet.
