Gavimar Aparthotel Ariel-Chico

A large complex of rooms (90) and apartments and studios (120) comprising the Ariel, Chico and Pins d’Or blocks - collectively known as Ariel-Chico. Split over a narrow side street in the centre of the town and offering the choice of four pool areas in different parts of the complex. All very lively with lots of entertainment and activities for children and adults, so it should appeal to families.

Handy for the main beach of the resort, Cala Gran just along the street, and Cala Esmeralda and Cala d’Or are also walkable. Enough space for those looking for a quieter time to escape! Sister property is Cala Gran just around the corner.

Interior

The central interior has a stone-walled reception leading through to a bright, modern bar, which are all nice, light and airy. A conservatory section has tables and chairs looking out via a glass sliding door to the pool and adjacent restaurant.

Grounds

Four seperate pool terraces on either side of the small side street. The main pool area is opposite the main building and has a raised entertainment area and snack bar in a circular terrace to one side of the pool.

There are many sunbeds all packed together around the pool. A children’s play area is in one corner. One of the other pool areas in the Pins d’Or section is more quiet and shady than the others which are under tall pine trees.

Location

Area Type: On a slightly sloping tree-lined side street at the rear edge of the central resort area with a lot of other tourist accommodation. A wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants are found on the surrounding streets. A stop for the mini-train is right outside the property and there is a bus stop on a street corner a short walk away. Three small coves with beaches are a comfortable walk away.
