Hotel D'Or

A small, compact establishment, offering a pleasant snack bar next to a rather meagre pool and little else. Attractive, greenery-decked, typical, traditional accommodation blocks make this a pleasing setting.

In a reasonably quiet section of the resort on the edge of the town centre, within easy walking distance of the many amenities, a further walk to either Cala Gran or Cala d’Or beaches. Close to the marina for more upmarket offerings. Low-key entertainment once a week, so should be a restful base for mature guests and couples.

Interior

Interior is limited to a tiny reception office with a desk and a few cane chairs. Adjacent is a cane-furnished snack bar looking onto the pool via sliding patio doors.

Grounds

Enclosed, compact grounds to the rear with flowering greenery around the edges in front of the accommodation buildings. Sunbeds are to one end of the pool and plastic chairs and tables are in front of the building serving the snack bar.

Area Type: Located just off a main, busy, tree-lined boulevard, toward the rear of the resort. Amenities line the street on the opposite side and it is only a short walk towards the centre to find more. A taxi stop is a 4 minute walk away and a bus stop to Palma and other island towns and beaches is just along the street. A 10 minute walk to the marina. Supermarket opposite.
