Can Picafort
Can Picafort is located at the eastern end of Alcudia Bay on the north coast of the Island and about 60 km north west of Palma. It is similar to Port D’Alcudia but smaller. It was once an important fishing port and its harbour still reflects this. It has two wonderful, very clean beaches with modern amenities and a small protected nature reserve. There are many restaurants and bars in the area, however it is most hotel-based entertainment. At Avinguda del Tucan there is an extremely large water park with various chutes and flumes called Hidropark.
