Hotel Haiti

A pleasant and well-presented modern facility with open-plan functional facilities with a roomy and airy feel. Used solely by guests of a major UK tour operator and marketed towards families with its entertainment and children's club. It has a convenient location on the main road to walk to the beach and the bars, restaurants and shops in the centre but suffers some traffic noise outside as a result. There is plenty of space to relax both inside in the smart lounge and outside on the lawns by the pool. Public transport to neighbouring towns and to the capital Palma is handy outside.

Interior

The functional interior areas have lots of glass panelling with an outlook to the pool area. There is a well-presented main buffet restaurant with marble pillars and flooring and modern black-painted wood furniture. The lounge bar has stylish sofas and chairs and an entertainment stage. Wicker-effect seating is on a terrace outside.

Grounds

The grounds to one side of the property have a hedged surround and a few mature trees. A tiled pool terrace has an expanse of lawn adjacent, providing more space for sunbathing. Many sunbeds surround the pool and on the grass, with canopy parasols. A children's playground and club is one corner of the grounds on grass.

Location

Area Type: On the busy main through road with other hotel properties, opposite a petrol station and a large supermarket. A bus stop is diagonally opposite to Alcudia, Puerto Pollensa and Palma. The nearest concentration of amenities is on the main street, a 5-minute walk away. Taxis are plentiful along the main road or there are taxi ranks on the central commercial street.
