Hotel Teix

A no-frills, friendly option, firmly geared to the young party crowd. It offers little in the way of facilities but is right in the heart of the local action with bars everywhere(!) and convenient for both the Son Maties beach and the Magaluf beach. Another positive is the hotel-owned English pub in the same building with food available and a further fast-food outlet next door for the required apres-boozing kebab! Not the place for relaxation but could not be much more convenient as a simple base.

A simple, slightly worn-looking lobby with a wooden reception and some odd, old wooden furnishings-is the only pubic interior apart from the pub next door owned by the hotel.

Grounds

A low wall and fence separates the pool area from the street and has a tiled surround with a few loungers on three sides. A snack bar has wicker chairs and tables in front and a spacious, wood-panelled interior room with some sofas .

Location

Area Type: In the heart of the lively nightlife area of Magaluf, just inland from the seafront and beach with a few other hotels and apartment properties. On a side street surrounded by a plethora of bars, tourist shops and eateries on the many small streets in this part of the resort. A bus stop to the capital Palma and a taxi rank are also on a nearby street.
