Interior

Elaborately decorated and grand central interior with patterned marble surfacing, intricate glass lighting and statues. An informal bistro and bar has an attractive patio and tasteful metal chairs and tables.

The spacious, well-appointed buffet restaurant has greenery, skylights and water features and a club-like bar has quality wood-panelling.

Superb grounds over two pool terraces surrounded by tall palm trees and landscaped lawned gardens. A vast lagoon pool is on the lower level with quality loungers all around the tiled poolside area. A large Jacuzzi is on a raised section. An attractive, Asian-style structure houses the pool bar.

On a raised level nearer the building is a more relaxed pool area with a unique water feature and more padded sunbeds. There is a terrace for the bistro with tables and chairs under canopy shades overlooking this smaller pool.

Area Type: In an elevated position, on a tree-lined side street, in the district of La Bonanova on the outer edge of the city with other hotels and residential accommodation. A 10 minute walk along the coast (900 yards) is the commercial port and marina with the boulevard along the seafront. The Porto Pi shopping centre is also a 10 minute walk away. City centre is 2 miles away. A bus stop is on the street corner below and a taxi rank is 100 yards away.
