Aqua Beach Hotel

An unusually laid-out and styled property, quite a change from the typical offerings of the resort. Has an elevated garden with sun terraces above the property and a pool, that although quite cramped, has a sliding roof. A choice of exterior terraces to sit and watch the world (and traffic!) go by and also to enjoy the outlook to the beach and sea.

Not suited at all to families but mature guests and couples will like the lively location and quirky character of this seafront option.

An angular, beige concrete block with green trim and a shaded terrace to the front of the property. A separate annexe building is next door. All rooms have balconies.

Interior

Interesting interior with some unusual decor and furnishings. A split-level lounge leads through to a cane-furnished bar and a shaded terrace by the street. The elegant buffet restaurant is off the lobby.

Grounds

The pool is housed in a small tiled terrace with a sliding perspex roof with a small amount of sunbeds around the edge and creepers on the stone walls to the sides. A lawned garden and two tiled sundecks are reached via some steep steps or a glass elevator and have some fine sea views.

Location

Area Type: On the main seafront road, in the centre of the resort, facing the sea and promenade and surrounded by other accommodation. Near the small headland between Palmanova beach and Carregador beach. Assorted shops, bars and eateries are found along the street. A taxi rank and bus stop are also nearby on the same street.
