A unique establishment set in the grounds of the Bendinat Golf course and with an African-theme throughout, in its building style and interesting design. The interior resembles a safari lodge with its display suitcases and animal trophies.

Lots of taste shown in its interior areas with a cosy golf clubhouse-style bar and exterior terraces for the bar and restaurant. Lovely grounds looking out to the golf course and an especially good dedicated children's area and a well-equipped spa.

Not exactly close to the centre of the resort or the beach but still within walking distance for most. Will appeal mainly to golfers obviously (who get a discount on green fees)- but anyone else should enjoy the friendly service and the very appealing surrounds both inside and out.

Three, pleasing, cream, 2 & 3-storey, Colonial-style buildings with cream latticework balconies and sloping roofs. Set around the gardens and overlooking the pool and golf course. All rooms have a balcony or a ground floor terrace.

Interior

The characterful interior is in earthy, neutral tones and boasts an African-lodge-style lobby which has dark wooden floors and walls with mounted animal heads, piles of decorative, battered old suitcases are scattered around the deep brown leather sofas.

The club-like bar has wood panelling and a golf theme. The delightful, informal restaurant has cream clapboard walls and is divided into two sections, one for breakfast and one for evening meals. Both have an attractive, wicker-furnished terrace.

Grounds

Attractive lawned gardens between the accommodation and golf course with loungers on the lawns under thatched parasols.

Overlooking the pool is a thatched bar and restaurant with interior wooden chairs and tables and more outside under large shades. A dedicated children's area with pool, rubber-based play area and mini-club, is to one end of the pool.

Area Type: On the outskirts of the resort, near the adjacent resort of Illetas, just off the main road and roundabout and in the middle of an 18-hole golf course. Set at the end of a private drive. A small shopping and restaurant plaza and supermarket are opposite. 20 minute walk to Portals Nous and a similar walk to the centre of Illetas. A bus stop is a few minutes walk away to neighbouring resorts and the capital Palma,5 miles away.
