Porto Colom
Porto Colom, about 20 km south of Porto Cristo, is a flourishing resort that claims to be Christopher Columbus’s birthplace. It sprawls around a long and irregular shaped bay which is a popular place to moor in the modern marina, at the south end of the bay. At the northern end you will find the tiny fishing port which has practically stayed unchanged for many years.
