Pollensa Park Hotel

Lively and well-facilitated property with a rather forgettable gloomy interior but with loads of room inside and out to sit in the lounge areas or on the lawned gardens around the pool. Adults and children are well catered for with a full programme of entertainment and lots to do for active guests. Despite the resort convenience, it is located in a peaceful position with open land to one side and fine views of the mountainous interior of the island. It is a five-minute walk to the sandy beach and a ten-minute walk into the main centre of Puerto Pollensa. It shares facilities with four smaller sister properties close by.

Interior

The open-plan central interior has a curved staircase to a balustrade mezzanine level. There is a complete mishmash of furnishings and nothing particularly tasteful or notable. A split-level lobby bar and lounge has a linked main restaurant and two covered terraces outside to the pool.

Grounds

The grounds include mature trees around the pool terrace and a thatched poolside snack bar with plastic seating outside. Thatched shades and sunbeds surround the pool on all sides. To the rear of the grounds are multi-sports courts and a rubber-based children's playground. There is plenty of extra space on lawns under trees for sun loungers.

Area Type: On a side road, off the main coast road with other tourist accommodation and some local tourist amenities. It is 1000 yds to the resort centre from here. A bus to Alcudia and Palma stops on the main road, 150 yds away.
